RIDERSHIP RULES
- Remain in your assigned seat.
- Keep hands and feet inside the bus
- No eating, drinking, or chewing gum
- Keep aisles clear (No feet or objects in the aisles)
- ABSOLUTE quiet for RR crossing
- Classroom voice level only.
- Homework may be done on the bus, however, if repeated problems arise (i.e. pen marks on seats, load talking, etc.), this privilege will be taken away.
- Music with headphones will be allowed so long as volume is low.
EMERGENCY RULES
- Remain on bus until instructions are given by driver.
BUS STOP RULES
- Be on time at bus stop.
- Stay off the road while waiting for bus.
- Do not move toward the bus until the bus comes to a complete stop.
- Observe safety precautions at discharge point. When it is necessary to cross the street, proceed to a point at least 10 feet in front of bus on the right shoulder of the road. Wait for the driver to signal you to cross.
GROSS MISCONDUCT RULES
- Fighting
- Profanity
- Damage to Bus
- Insubordination to driver
- Throwing objects in or out of bus
- Running along side or behind bus
DISCIPLINE
Violation of Bus Ridership Rules will be handled as follows:
- Driver will issue a verbal warning…..if behavior continues
- Driver will issue a notification….if behavior continues
- Principal will schedule a conference
Violation of Gross Misconduct Rules will be handled as follows:
- Automatic Notification (No verbal warning)
- Any further problems will be handled at the discretion of the principal
