Commemorate
your Child’s Birthday
At the Birthday Book Store!
What is the Birthday Book Store?
The Birthday Book Store is a supply of
books, available in the library, for purchase to commemorate your
child’s birthday. Once purchased, they are added to the library’s
circulation materials with a personalized nameplate honoring your child and his or her
special day. Again, the books are located in the school library and
can be purchased by contacting Donna Barry, school librarian.
Where can we find a list of Birthday Books to choose from?
The Birthday Book list and order forms
have not been sent out because program volunteers are busy working on upgrading Birthday
Books to a convenient, user-friendly web-based system. Until the new system is ready,
parents can find books to purchase with a quick phone call, email, or trip into the school
library.
When will the website program be ready?
Our goal is to implement the web-based
program in the near future. Watch the Paddy’s Press newsletter and the school
registration program for more information as we get closer to full implementation.
Is the library full yet? Are Birthday Books really
necessary?
Besides providing a fun way to celebrate
your child’s birthday and leave a lasting legacy at the school, the Birthday Book
program has greatly helped us increase the quality, quantity, and currency of our library
materials. Our progress has been great, but the need remains.
